The AnnLee cups are unique in the world. They are innovative in their form and function and their design is protected. The contents can be easily removed and just as easily fixed again and are of course dishwasher safe.
Ups and downs, corners and edges, light and shadow. And all in endless variations. This is the world we live in. Happily live in because we can all contribute to making this a better world. We can make our dreams a reality by creating a world of love, color, friendship and trust. This is not just my world, this is your world, our world.
I wander our world with open and curious eyes. I love ambling the bustling, invigorating and creative streets of the world with a cup of fresh brewed coffee in my hands. The Champs Élysées in Paris, New York’s the Fifth Avenue or Munich’s Maximilianstraße to name a few.
But when I learned in 2019 that the US alone is disposing 145 billion–yes, 145 billion–disposable coffee cups a year I had an awakening. Wonderful world? No more. And just to shake it off, straighten the collar and go on with business as usual was no option. I stopped dreaming and jumped into action fighting for a better world, a healthier planet.
My first innovation was a thermal cup. A cup that I can carry with me at all times, in an equally beautiful bag, ideally forever. It must of course look stunning and be practical.
Both as part of my better world the cup and the bag form a deep friendship. The period of development was full of joy, effort, tinkering, fear, passion but also setbacks and disappointments. But giving up was never an option? Never. Because the path to a better world must be one thing above all other: unstoppable!
After the first samples came the prototypes. Then came the patenting and with it an investor. The brand was established and in September 2023 AnnLee was launched to reinvigorate the the streets for a better world.
My dream handbags became AnnLee bags and my solution to help save the planet became AnnLee cups. All handmade, colorful, with international flair and from the finest leather. Together, AnnLeeCup and AnnLeeBag form a unit with variation.
The name AnnLee is a symbol of my personal life. Made up from the names of my two daughters, expressing joy, responsibility, hope, confidence and, above all, an expression of my love for our world.
